Sa pratique pluridisciplinaire se développe principalement avec le matériau céramique mais comprend également des oeuvres papiers ou des écrits.
Sa pratique se fonde dans des gestes primitifs, ceux qui nous font danser avec le vivant, nous lient à la terre et nous font habiter le monde.
Ils sont imprimés dans une multitudes de petits éléments créant des ensembles vibrants. C’est par la répétition qu’elle façonne la vibration comme un mouvement pertpétuel et insuffle à ses oeuvre une énergie du vivant.
Fanny forme dans la matière des présences corps, colonne ou totem, des identités masques, miroirs intimes, ou encore des hybrides,chimères d’une nature fantasmée ou les frontières des règnes se dissolvent.
Elle figure les perceptions instinctives, sensorielles et mystérieuses qui existent entre les êtres, leur moi profond et l’univers qui nous entoure.
Elle explore la notion d’identité en perpetuelle mutation et ses ancrages dans la féminité en empruntant aux mythes des Grâces, Gorgones, ou autres nymphes, comme autant de figure mères, filles, femmes, dont elle restitue la puissance.

Fanny Richard ( 1985, Paris FR) lives and works in Paris.
Her multidisciplinary practice focuses mainly on ceramics, but also includes works on paper and
words.
Her practice is based on primitive gestures, those that make us dance with the living, that bind us to the earth
and make us inhabit the world.
They are printed in a multitude of small elements, creating vibrant ensembles.
It is through repetition that she shapes the vibration
as a perpetual movement and infuses her work with a living energy.
Fanny forms presences in matter: bodies as columns or totems,
identities as masks, intimate mirrors, or hybrids as chimeras of a fantasised nature
where the boundaries between kingdoms dissolve.
She depicts the instinctive, sensory and mysterious perceptions that exist between human beings, their deepest selves and the universe that surrounds. She explores the notion of identity in perpetual mutation and its roots in femininity, borrowing from the myths of the Graces, Gorgons and other nymphs,
mother figures, daughters, women, whose power she restores.
